Inner Alchemy:
1:1 Contemplative Coaching for Personal Growth & Healing
Perhaps you've spent years in therapeutic spaces doing your own healing or facilitating others.
You've read the books, explored your spirituality, learned about trauma, the nervous system, attachment, or personal growth. You understand yourself in ways you never did before.
And still you struggle to put your knowing into action.
Understanding ourselves doesn't always lead to the growth and change we hoped for.
We find ourselves asking,
"If I understand myself this well, why is it still so difficult to live the life I want to live?"
I've come to believe there is often a gap between understanding ourselves and being able to live from that understanding.
Knowing matters. Insight matters. Naming our experiences matters.
But understanding is not the same as living.
What if the next step isn't simply gathering more information about yourself?
What if it is developing a different relationship with yourself, your experiences, and your life?
Your life experience has something to teach.
In Inner Alchemy we learn how to meet it directly rather than continuing to search for one more explanation, one more framework, or one more answer.
Working together isn't about me telling you what your experiences mean. It is about creating enough space for us to witness what you are experiencing and what is emerging.
Instead of cutting yourself off from your multidimensional ways, let's learn how to embrace paradox, reclaim your complexity, and welcome all of your humanity back home to your fascinating, multifaceted self.
It's not about becoming someone different – it's about you becoming more of YOU as you begin relating differently to yourself and expanding your capacity for the joys and the challenges of life
And while so many of us may ask “What’s wrong with me?” or some variation of that question, our work together operates with the understanding that there is nothing wrong or to be fixed. Instead we spend time understanding what you need and how you want to be in this world.
Inner Alchemy helps translate your understanding and insights into the way you actually live.
Here’s what’s possible when we work together…
Instead of organizing your life around who you think you should be, you begin discovering who you actually are. That begins to change how you live.
You begin creating work, relationships, and daily rhythms that reflect how you actually function rather than how you believe you are supposed to function.
Shame and self-criticism begin to loosen their grip.
You become more accepting of uncertainty and less driven to find the ONE right answer.
You learn to comfort yourself without carrying everything alone.
You become more aware of what supports you and what depletes you.
You spend less energy fighting yourself.
Grief, anger, uncertainty, pleasure, and joy, become part of your lived experience without needing to justify, eliminate, or fix them.
You begin to understand that two people can experience the same moment differently, and both experiences can be real.
You navigate difficult conversations from a less reactive place.
You recognize your needs earlier and become better able to honor them without apologizing for having them.
Relationships often begin to change as well. You become more authentic because you are no longer spending so much energy hiding parts of yourself.
You discover that your needs remain valid, even when another person cannot meet them.
You communicate emotional, sensory, and sexual needs with greater clarity.
You become more comfortable allowing your experience to be different from someone else's without needing either person to be wrong.
You begin recognizing your emotions, your body, your sensory experiences, your spirituality, your sexuality, and your neurodivergent ways of moving through the world as meaningful parts of being human rather than problems to overcome.
The Process
We meet virtually over zoom. Your time begins with where you want to start…what is current for you or what shows up once we begin our time together. At the end of each session, there is time to reflect and check in to observe what has changed within your system. Home practice is offered - invitations to notice and act in different ways throughout your daily life, between our time together. These are low pressure, bite size options - with no judgement or expectations if you do them or not.
During sessions you are invited into spaciousness, to slow down, and get specific about your own experience, instead of rushing to explain it away or make it disappear. When you're able to stay with something long enough, without being overwhelmed by it, it tends to show you more than it first let on.
What feels like anxiety might reveal grief underneath it.
Certainty gives way to uncertainty, and uncertainty opens into a new way of relating to what's happening in you.
This new orientation is where real possibility, understanding, and integration actually come from. Inner Alchemy is where you learn to live in relationship with what you've come to understand about yourself.
There is no predetermined answer or a protocol to apply. Instead, the space is created to help you stay in relationship with your experience long enough that it can begin to reveal itself.
Our time together is spent with several modalities woven together to care for mind, body & spirit.
…without bypassing social context, personal history or unique-to-you challenges.
Cultivating Connection to Self/Soul Energy
Connecting to an internal and external expereince of safety, warmth, and steadiness is foundational to connecting with your internal landscape. This connection doesn’t need to be continuous or extreme, instead we are looking for touchpoints of steadiness and internal safe-enough. If all you did was spend moments in this state with wonder and interest (curiosity), possibilities would emerge.
Multidimensional Inquiry
I’m an Internal Family Systems Level 3 Certified Practitioner. Being curious of your multiplicity, helps you reclaim the burdened, exiled, and pushed to the shadows aspects of ourselves, and work with the beliefs and energies that aren’t quite-so-you to make more room for your whole self to thrive.
Somatic Exploration
I’m a trained Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner. This practice assists you in connecting to internal resources and regulating your nervous system in a titrated and trauma-informed way led by your own inner authority.
Spiritual Connection & Healing
You may also know me as a Sacred Arts Practitioner, Channel, Tarot Reader, Spiritual Mentor, Energy Healer, and Ordained Non-Denominational Healing Minister. With this lens, I help you explore and deepen your relationship with your own sources of spiritual support, so you have regular access to your own guidance.
Intersectional Social Analysis
I follow a lineage of Intersectional Feminist Scholarship and Action Researcher, which means I will never bypass your lived experience, or anyone else’s. Diverging from the New Age Facade, I believe understanding ourselves in a social context helps us heal. It frees up energy we spend contorting to fit the cultural expectations we are bombarded with throughout our lives. It dispels shame and creates space for our own guidance.
Is Inner Alchemy Right for Me?
People who benefit the most:
You like an individualized approach to personal growth.
You want to explore and connect in a deep and embodied way with your wise inner Self/Soul.
You want to move beyond the literal and make room for the symbolic, paradoxical, and complex in your healing.
You are open to exploring your experience rather than only talking about it.
You are willing to try practices, sit with questions, and see what happens.
You are interested in my perspective. I listen deeply, AND I also ask clarifying questions, compassionately challenge assumptions, offer ideas, and ask if I can share when I see something differently.
You have done enough of your own work that when resistance or protective responses arise, you can usually notice them and remain engaged in the process. Or, when something is brought to your attention, you are interested in meeting it with compassion and curiosity.
You are curious. You don't have to agree with me or say yes to everything I suggest, but you are willing to consider possibilities you may not have considered before.
People who benefit less:
Someone who primarily wants a space to talk without being challenged or offered another perspective.
Most suggestions are met with some version of "that won't work," "I've already tried that," or "I can't do that," without much interest in exploring further.
Someone who is looking for me to convince them to engage in the work.
There is very little access to moments of enjoyment, creativity, beauty, or pleasure, or significant support is needed to remain present with experience. My work is best suited for people who have some internal and external support to draw upon, even during incredibly difficult periods of life.
Most of our time together needs to be spent working with protective responses before deeper exploration is possible.
There is a strong investment in either/or answers and little willingness to consider complexity, contradiction, or multiple possibilities.
Inner alchemy is where we close the gap between understanding yourself and living from that understanding.

Inner Alchemy is not therapy and is not a replacement for it. Many of the people I work with have spent years in therapeutic spaces, and some are therapists or practitioners themselves. Therapy often centers on understanding what happened and why. Our work together centers on living from what your understanding & lived experience. We work with your present experience, your body, your relationships, and your relationship with yourself. If you are currently working with a therapist, this work can complement that relationship rather than compete with it.

No. Spiritual connection is one thread among several, and you decide how much of that lens we use. Nothing here asks you to believe anything. What matters more is your willingness to be curious, to sit with questions, and to consider possibilities you may not have considered before.
-
This work is built around you, not society’s expectations of you. Your sensory experience, your pacing, your ways of processing, your capacity, and your ways of moving through the world are treated as meaningful information rather than problems to overcome. There is no protocol here to fit yourself into. And no expectation for how a person or a nervous system is to be in this space.

Starting this work in crisis is different than having a crisis occur during our time together. If you are seeking out working together becuase you are in crisis, Inner Alchemy is probably not the best fit. This work asks you to stay with your experience, which requires some steadiness to draw on, internally and externally. If most of your energy is currently going toward getting through the day, therapy and more direct support is most likely a better fit. This work will still be here when there is a bit more ground under you.
If a crisis comes up while working (health diagnosis, grief, loss, etc.) this is a place to be with all of it and to receive support. In addition, I will recommend additional supports or referrals if needed.

Spiritual Mentorship centers your spiritual life and practice as the heart of our work together. Inner Alchemy begins with your lived experience: your emotions, your relationships, your patterns, your daily life. Spiritual connection is woven in as one of several modalities rather than the starting point. Some people begin in Inner Alchemy and find their spiritual life moving toward the center. Others know from the beginning that mentorship is what they are looking for. If you are unsure, a discovery call is a good place to sort that out together.cription

You may leave a session with a practice to try, a question to sit with, or simply something to notice. This is not homework in the graded sense. Practice and time are how learning happens, AND homework is bite-size - a second of touching into the practice - nothing laborous or requiring extra time in a day. No judgement or expectation for completion here. Life happens.
Email check-ins are included so you have support as things unfold.
